Taking the form of a four-door sedan with five-passenger seating, the Dodge Charger seamlessly combines the convenience of a family car with the thrill of a supercharged sports vehicle. The model stays true to Dodge’s iconic amped-up attitude with a low, lean profile, scalloped bodyside and chiseled front end. But make no mistake, this is not just a sedan in muscle-car clothing.
With a standard V6 and three available V8 engine options, the Charger hammers out up to 707 horsepower, living up to Dodge’s menacing legacy for performance. Rounding out the performance package, the Charger features the most technologically advanced available all-wheel-drive system in its class, plus an adaptive damping system, four- and six-piston Brembo brake systems, Bilstein front and rear shocks and 14 different available wheel designs.
The Charger doesn’t skimp on space in the name of performance either. Seating up to five passengers comfortably, this model offers a colossal 104.7 cubic feet of passenger space. This space translates to over 40 inches of legroom and over 56 inches of hip room for front and rear passengers alike.
Exterior Color Lineup
Alongside the classic black and grey tones, the 2019 Dodge Charger comes in a range of eye-catching shades that make the model pop. Among our favorite head-turning Charger paint hues are TorRed, Octane Red, F8 Green, Plum Crazy, Indigo Blue and B5 Blue. For those that prefer to keep it simple, the model offers six greyscale tones ranging from Pitch Black to White Knuckle.
The 2019 Charger engine lineup features four high-performing engine options that live up to the Dodge name. Kicking off engine list, the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 delivers up to 300 horsepower and 264 lb.-ft. of torque. The next-level 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine ups the ante, scoring a best-in-class 370 horsepower and 395 lb.-ft. of torque. Another step up, the 392 HEMI V8 delivers class-leading 485 horsepower, 475 lb.-ft. of torque and 0-60 in the low 4-second range. Capping the lineup with a roar, the Supercharged 6.2L HEMI SRT Hellcat V8 brings herculean power, exerting a monstrous best-in-class 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque.
